From
start to finish, this art doll set was hand-sculpted and created by
me, entirely by hand from my home art studio.
This includes "Rosabella's" wings and clothing which was all
handmade and sewn on by me, by hand, not glued with the exception
of the rose bonnet hats, which are not removable. "Rosabella &
Baby Primrose" are both One of a Kind, Collectable Fine Art Pieces.
I worked on this set for three months before it was completed.

Size: "Rosaebella" (shown above) is a larger art doll and measures approximately 15 1/2 inches in height measuring from the top of her nonremovable rose bonnet to the bottom of her pink fairy boots. She can sit but cannot stand on her own. Her hands and fairy boots were hand-sculpted over a wire armature so they can be gently posed/positioned as desired. Her face/head is not posable. "Rosabella" can hold "Baby Primrose" in her arms or another item that you may already have and own such as flowers, a basket, etc. "Baby Primrose" measures approximately 3 1/2 inches in height measuring from the top of her nonremovable rose bonnet to the bottom of her nonremovable blanket which was sewn on by hand. |

Facial Features, hair, etc. "Rosabella's" face, hands, and boots were all hand-sculpted by me, using polymer clay without the use of any molds. Her eyes were hand-sculpted/handmade, inserted by hand and then handpainted blue. Her facial features (eyes, lips, cheeks, eyebrows, etc.) were all colored, shaded and blushed by me by hand before being fired. Her fingernails were also handpainted. Her beautiful long and wavy blonde hair is premium, high quality angora mohair that was applied by me, by hand, lock by lock. Sweet little "Baby Primrose" was also hand-sculpted and created in the same manner and without the use of molds. She is not removable from her blanket bundle cocoon. |

Wings: "Rosaebella's" wings are completely removable so that she can be displayed with or without them. Her wings are my own design and were entirely handmade by me, using material over wire. They are covered in fine fairydust glitter, including high quality German Glass glitter. "Rosabella's" wings sparkle magically when the light plays off of them. Dress: "Rosabella" is dressed in her very best fairy finery which includes her fairy princess ball gown style dress. Her dress is my own design, entirely handmade and sewn on by hand (not glued) by me. Her outfit is not meant to be removed and includes light pink tulle over a pink satin type material. Matching light pink lace trim was sewn on by me, again, all by hand, all around the edge of her inner skirt and also at the waist. Her lace waistband has high quality, Aurora Borealis glass beads sewn on all by hand. AB beads appear to change colors when held up near various different light sources. She also has a genuine Aurora Borealis Swarovski Crystal placed and hand-sewn near her chest area for decoration. The edges of her pink net tulle outer skirt have been heat singed for a tattered look. The edges of her sleeves/cuffs have also been distressed and fringed. |
